E&A CLEANING, owned and operated by Eric was established in 1996. In 2004, Eric moved the main office of E & A CLEANING along with his office manager, Deanna, and approximately 45 employees to Century Retail on Brannen Road. Century Retail has had the absolute pleasure of working with Eric and Deanna at E&A CLEANING for 20 years. Deanna manages the office and is the Accountant, HR, and Payroll Specialist for E&A CLEANING. Deanna does not stop there as she is a wealth of information and wears many hats. Deanna loves her job, helping others, seeing their personal growth, and never meeting a stranger. Deanna knows all too well how to go above and beyond for everyone she meets, that’s why we have affectionately named her “The Mayor”. If you know Eric and Deanna, you know a friend! From Miami, Meg began her ownership of the HOTWORX Franchise at Lakeland South in October of 2022. Being diagnosed and managing daily Type 1 Diabetes since the age of 14, Meg and her husband Ed, found that HOTWORX vs. the regular gym had so many health benefits for all ages, lifestyles, most injuries, and medical concerns including T1D. Fat Jacks Deli
Fat Jacks Deli and Pub is a long time Lakeland landmark, located at the corner of South Florida Ave and Edgewood Drive in Edgewood Plaza. The restaurant was founded in 1963 by “Fat Jack” Toro and his wife Stella. The original location was in Dixieland, but they moved to Edgewood Plaza when it was built in 1967. Mark Westfall began working there as a dishwasher in 1982 while in college and later purchased Fat Jacks in 1993 and has grown the business to be one of Lakeland’s most frequented restaurants.
Century has enjoyed partnering with Fat Jacks over the past 54 years and assisting with lease renewals, renovations and updates, pandemics, and the ongoing challenges of owning a small business. We love having business owners like Mark and his family in our properties and look forward to many more years of partnership.

Originally from Miami, with a background in banking and purchasing, George and Sheyla knew they could support their family of 5 but wanted more. They wanted to love what they do and demonstrate to their children first-hand that all things are possible with hard work. “It’s hard work, but we love meeting new people, and the community has been so welcoming and supportive.”
Rooted is a healthy, café-style eatery located in our Lakeland South plaza. It has been a pleasure getting to know the family who owns this unique business and a joy to see them realize their dream from concept to Grand Opening.
